Friendly, well appointed hotel in Portland City Center

Sacramento, California

The Mark Spencer is an older hotel that has been completely remodeled over the last few years. The staff is friendly and the rooms are well appointed with all the usual amenities. The location can't be beat--only 1 block from Powells Books and Jakes Crawfish. It is on the Portland streetcar line, and just a couple of blocks from the MAX light rail line. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning and social hours in the afternoon. Parking is available at an additional cost.

Walkers Paradise

Seattle

You can easily walk just about anywhere in downtown from this centrally located and charming hotel which has to be among the best values in town. This 3 star hotel was nicer than many 4 star hotels I've stayed in. Very friendly staff and nice perks like a daily wine reception and breakfast are included.
