Not happy

Just because you bring a pet doesn't mean you should have a view of a roof. I was here early enough that this could not have been the only pet friendly room. In fact we had to wait to check in. I asked for another room before we even brought up our bags, they said no. At $355 per night I won't do this again. I will post more after seeing what the morning brings and post a photo of our roof view. Front desk was a bit frazzled and there was only one other couple ahead of me. So far not good.

Overall great value for the price.

Stevens Point

Positive: Our family of 5 had a very good experience, the kids loved the hot tub, pool, outdoor fireplaces, ocean view, and free cookies! The washer and dryer was extremely helpful although there was a lot of competition for the single machines. The staff was very professional, pleasant, and helpful - sometimes a bit chaotic though. Negative: The parking can be a bit tricky. The bird nests on roof had massive droppings around the property. The walk to beach is not direct, about 5-minutes via neighboring property. There is some sort of a water run-off streaming down the hill from buildings to the ocean that wreaked with foul odor. Overall: It was fun, decent, and affordable although not exactly an all-star beach-front experience.
