Absolute Perfection

Highland Park, Texas

We are loyal Marriott travelers and I was very happy to find that the St. Regis is now a member of the new Bon Voy network. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the St. Regis and will be very hard pressed to stay anywhere else while in New York. While we were there, whenever anyone would ask how our stay was, I would say "absolute perfection". There was no other way to describe it. Not for the faint of wallet, but if you're looking for the best, this is it! - CHECK IN/ROOM... We were greeted warmly and were very happy when we were upgraded from a Superior to a Grand Luxe room. The room was ready despite checking in early! Our room on the 7th floor was huge by NYC standards and we even had two sinks in the bathroom which was nice, especially for New York. Decor was opulent. They have managed to find the perfect balance between old and new and the end result is true luxury with a modern, clean feel. - BUTLER SERVICE... This is the first time I've ever had my own butler and I fear it has ruined me for all future hotel stays! I believe each floor has a designated butler. They are available at the touch of a button. Our fabulous butler arrived at our room immediately upon check-in to introduce himself and offered to unpack our bags which we were thrilled to let him do as it allowed us to go to lunch after a long morning of traveling. The butler also brought French pressed coffee every morning which was a very nice touch. Lastly, our butler absolutely saved our trip when my husband realized at the 11th hour that he forgot to pack cuff links. Minutes after speaking, she arrived with not one set of cuff links, but multiple options! HOUSE CLEANING... room was gorgeous and clean. Turn down service was impeccable. CONCIERGE... great suggestions with a smile BELLHOP/DOORMAN/CAR SERVICE... all went above and beyond. We enjoyed taking the Bentley to dinner one night. KING COLE BAR...we had been to the KCB for a drink before and loved it for its cool, clubby atmosphere. What a fabulous option to have just steps from the elevator. It's definitely not a secret as it was always packed! Thank you, St. Regis. We will be back!

Elegant and Regal

Our room was a little on the small side but came with a Butler, who was very special and most efficient. We came up for a wedding and our clothes were wrinkled from the travel. The matter was handled faster than we requested and the hotel was booked. As a matter of fact, usual check in is 4 PM we arrived prior to 12. They took my cell and we went to lunch. The room was ready within an hour and a half. We went to the Armani Restaurant on 56th and Fifth. Phenomenal choice, food, ambiance, the views ( Harry Winston's & Vanderbilt's mansion) beyond words. We saw Pretty Woman and that capped a wonderful 1st day ending at Wolfgangs for some small plates and Martini's . The next day was breakfast at the hotel, elegant and very mixed upscale crowd. A league of nations; NY !! Wonderful, people watching, then preparation for the most fantastically over done garishly cultural family wedding I've ever been to. A real " Jaw Dropper", had an amazing time. Got back 4 AM and still ready to go I love NY.....for a long weekend
