Great hotel, but really disappointing stay this time

I usually stay at NY Palace when in NY. Hotel is well equipped, excellently located and reasonably priced with good sized rooms (for NYC). However, on this stay I was really disappointed. The room was a lot smaller than normal, had not be cleaned or prepared properly and the toilet was blocked. I will stay at the hotel again, and hope for a return to the usual form

Love the staff from the moment I pull up in the taxi, to check in, to my accommodations and throughout my entire stay. The staff makes it so easy for me; they seem like they can't do enough for me. The bed is so comfortable, as are the pillows. The bathroom is always clean and the room is always cleaned daily. The location is so perfect for me!
