Great location with reasonable prices

Stayed here for three nights before departing on a cruise. Nice hotel, rooms are a little small but functional, price is very reasonable for NY. The Library bar is fun, drinks are expensive but inline with NY prices. The Umami burgers are delicious and cooked to perfection. Location is great with a short walk to Columbus Circle and Central Park. Not too far from 5th Avenue too! Staff are very friendly and helpful as a visitor to NY. My only complaint is the price of breakfast, so we went next door to Fluffy’s on 8th Avenue, real NY Deli with a huge range of food at a very affordable price.

Excellent facilities, room disappointing

We visited New York as part of a holiday tour of America, the hotel is very well situated only a 7 minutes walk to the south entrance of Central Park and 10 minutes walk to broadway and time square, the bars are both really good as well as Umami Burger and well worth a visit, the room was very disappoint though especially been told on arrival we were given an upgrade. The room wasn’t big enough to swing a cat albeit it was clean, if booking in advance ask for a larger room other wise a nice hotel.

Hudson Lodge

New York's first urban ski-resort themed bar, making its return from its smash debut in 2012. With local DJ's spinning and nightly snowfalls, guests are transported to an apres ski haven, where bartenders serve up chilly cocktails and warm spiked favorites. The food cart at Hudson Lodge turns out indulgent interpretations of ski resort fare, including mouth-watering cheese fondue, crispy s'mores grilled cheeses and freshly baked peanut butter, sea salt and caramel chocolate cookies. Hudson Lodge opens seasonally in the winter months.
