Disappointing 5 stars hotel

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Arrival: Even though we arrived at 7:30pm, we had to wait for more then 20mn to get to our room, and another 20mn for the luggage. The Suite: Ugly view over adjacent dirty rooftops. No welcome amenities in a 1600$ suite. No closet space. Very small and uncomfortable bathroom. Bathrobes in a terrible condition. Very comfortable and elegant slippers Concierge service: Apart from Alejandra who's a real pro, the rest of the team is terribly incompetent. We had to wait for more than 20mn in a freezing cold after a show for a limousine we had ordered. The concierge had omitted to give the driver our phone number so we couldn't reach each other. We called the hotel to try to get in touch with the concierge who had made the reservation, we were told the concierge leaves at 10:30pm Is this a 5 stars hotel service? After complaining upon the checkout, the hotel did not charge this transfer.

New York City, New York

My only regret about staying at the Baccarat is that I am now spoiled and will not stay at any other hotel in New York. The location- perfect without being in the middle of a tourist frenzy. Service is excellent as you would expect from a hotel like this. After a weekend of shopping I had several items which needed to be shipped back home and the front desk staff were able to quickly get everything packaged up and ready to go. It arrived home safely. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotless. The breakfast area is beautiful. I am also glad that after the bar closing, as a hotel guest my husband and I were able to finish our bottle of champagne in the salon without being rushed. Thank you staff at the Baccarat hotel you have given the hotel the best reputation.
