Water is how much...?

Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Stayed here for four nights, the room was lovely and spacious, the bed was comfy, I had a great view down 6th Avenue. The location is great (as a tourist at least). Staff all seemed pleasant and helpful. And there was free WiFi. My issue with the Warwick was the price of water at their bar area downstairs. I was charged $8.71 (~ £6.80) for a room temperature 500ml (17.59oz) bottle of water (featured below). It was at the end of my stay just as I was leaving and it really put a negative spin on the end of my holiday, I felt very ripped off. I don’t doubt it’s “good water” however you can find it elsewhere for around $1.30 a bottle so a 570% mark up is just an outrageous price to pay for water regardless of how “prime” a location is.

The best service Lovely historic hotel

La Crosse

Second visit....outstanding The room was on the 6th floor, would have preferred a higher floor From the front desk, to the bartenders, to the concierge/Robert, to the housekeeping, all very good. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and received champagne and strawberries in our room, plus 2 free drinks. Very nice of the management to recognize our milestone.
