Loving the London

Lawrence, United States

The suite was spacious and beautiful. The staff was very responsive. Our TV remote controls weren't working. The front desk quickly sent up someone from engineering to solved the problem as well as the problem I was having with the bedroom not being cool enough (He replaced the AC filter). The location is terrific if you want to be in the theater area.

Amazing location & big rooms

First off, for all the people complaining about the prices. It's NYC people, everything has an added cost involved. Secondly, who goes on vacation to NYC and eats in the hotel? Seriously, eating out is a huge part of coming to the city, why in the world would you spend it eating hotel food? Rant over. The location of this hotel is amazing, close to everything you would want to do, Central Park, the Met, Natural History Museum, theaters, Times Square, etc. The rooms are great size, nice sitting room, large bedroom, and a really large bathroom (great water pressure and temp) with an extended size shower. I was there the second week of August with my family and the A/C was legit, it was borderline freezing which we like come from TX! We were on the 15th floor and never heard a peep from anyone in the rooms around us or from the street below. The hotel will be going through a reno soon, so there is some wear and tear in places, but overall for the price, location and size of rooms, the London is a terrific choice.
