Loved it! Old Hollywood Glam!

Saint Augustine Beach, Florida

Love this hotel! It was our first time staying here and we really loved it. It is just a few blocks from Times Square. We came into town to see a show, so this was walking distance to the theatre. The hotel is kind of art deco and Hollywood glam. We had a suite with an outdoor balcony which was great for sipping a cocktail before the show. The service was amazing. Only downside is they have "butler" service -- which is fine. But this means there is no iron in the room if you just want to touch up your shirt. You have to use the butler service. But not a big deal. The property is smaller, I think only 4 or 5 floors. So, it doesn't feel like a mob scene like many big NY hotels can feel. Definitely try this place out. It was alot of fun!

St. Helena, California

We were delighted to stay for the first time for a long weekend at the Chatwal these past several days. I cannot say enough about the staff and level of personalized service from the moment we arrived until our departure. Travelling with children can be a hassle and trying for all involved. The staff was considerate, anticipated our needs and did so with a huge smile. The rooms were spacious for New York, the amenities luxurious and for being just a block away from Times Square, we had the convenience of location with absolutely zero noise. I especially want to recognize Sileni Rodriguez, who made sure we booked the most appropriate room for our party and was incredibly inattentive throughout our stay. She is a great asset and Ambassador for your hotel.
