Character property with resort-style amenities

This historic inn dates from the early 1800’s and has played host to presidents and other notable figures over the years. Nowadays the inn has transformed into a beautiful luxury hotel with a wide range of facilities and a wonderfully central location in the heart of Stowe. As well as two acclaimed restaurants, guests can enjoy plenty of amenities including a year-round heated pool and submerged Jacuzzi tub, a fitness centre, a massage centre and complimentary afternoon tea and cookies for a touch of indulgence. The decor and rooms are traditional, cosy and rather comfortable, making this the ideal base for an authentic period stay in Vermont’s premier town resort.

Great Accommodations

Winchendon, Massachusetts

This is a very nice place to stay in Stowe. It has a charming, quintessential Vermont feel. Stayed in a luxury king room which was spacious and included a sofa, coffee table, desk and chair. Nice amenities in the room and very modernized (good wi fi, charging ports, big screen tv, dvd, fridge) despite the vintage feel and appearance. The hotel seems very clean and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The fireplace and 2 person hot tub in the room were great! We were there during a snow storm and spent several hours that evening in the outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub which were awesome. There is a very nice health club with work out equipment, showers, sauna, and indoor hot tub as well. They offer a shuttle to the mountain if that’s something you’re interested in. This was our second stay and we have love it both times. Cant wait to return.

Snow Fun Stay!

Maryland

My family along with friends of ours rented one of the 2 bedroom townhouses for a long weekend. Not knowing what to expect as this was our first visit to Green Mountain, I must say we were VERY pleasantly surprised. We arrived to a nicely decorated, clean, spacious town home! We were very comfortable and pleased with our accommodations! We were a close brisk walk to the heated pool and hot tub, which we all enjoyed every night of our stay. We were a close brisk walk to some very cute shops along the main street. We were an 8-10 min drive to Stowe mountain. I would definitely recommend the Green Mountain Inn to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway!
