Relax, unwind and discover a truly exceptional luxury retreat, located in the heart of Vermont’s peaceful countryside.

Situated over a vast 300 acres of magnificent woodland, Twin Farms offers a remote and serene setting whilst still featuring all modern luxuries and, of course, impeccable style.

The resort's exceptional lodgings are made up of four Main House rooms, two suites in The Lodge, four suites in The Farmhouse at Copper Hill and ten freestanding cottages dotted across the resort's grounds – all accommodations feature their own unique character or theme but all include romantic and homely touches, from cosy stone fireplaces to large spacious bathrooms with separate dressing and living areas. Cottages feature their own personal patios or porches and some even include private indoor or outdoor hot tubs.

Top Tips from our Experts

"We took the resort bikes for a 10-mile downhill ride to Woodstock. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the chef even prepared a picnic, with amazing homemade breads and aged cheeses. The service is incredible – we were too tired to ride back, so the resort even sent a car to collect us."

"My favourite part of my stay was the onsite pub – it's a great place to meet other guests over a game on the billiards table. After an amazing dinner, we relaxed with a late-night glass of cognac by the stone fire pit  under the Vermont stars – truly breath-taking."

Excellent Getaway

Wilton, Connecticut

One of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations we have ever had as every detail was taken care of. Each meal was prepared with so much thought and so delicious along with the paring of the wines. The service was impeccable. So many options of things to do. It also offers such a very restful and relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend Twin Farms.

Even better this time!

New York, NY

I almost never return to a property but someone's mail marketing efforts paid off and I decided to get some friends up for the Stave Murder Mystery Weekend. The service at the hotel was as I remembered--friendly, laid-back and at-your-service. The food is quite good tho we had a couple of ho-hum meals, or maybe we were just too full from our previous meal still. You will not go hungry. Even on our last day, they packed a lunchbox for us even after we stuffed ourselves at brunch. If the weather is bearable, the main house is very walkable from all the cabins. As for the Murder Mystery portion co-hosted by Stave Puzzles, there is a puzzling and games room set up where guests can do puzzles all day and they throw in a few games and challenges to earn chits for the prize drawings. Hired actors play out scenes over a day and a half and guests can interact with them and ask questions. We thought it was not commensurate that guests who guessed the correct murderer were only awarded one chit into the grand prize drawings, cause the murder mystery is kind of the point of the weekend and it actually takes some sort of skill to figure it out (about 10% of the guests had the correct murderer). Regardless, it was fun and everyone received plenty of schwag. Mobile service is very spotty. There is wifi throughout. Spa is great. And they have Alchemist beer.
