Nice location, lots of charm but rooms need updates!

Charlottetown, Canada

We enjoyed a lovely few days in the Kennebunkport area , staying at a couple of inns. This one, the Nonamtum has a lot of heritage with a deep family story and was recommended. I enjoyed very much it’s location, service was excellent and had a lot of charm. On the other hand the guest rooms are in need of update. I use for example a curtain for a closet door. This does match the calibre of this Accomodation . As well furnishings are tired. I applaud the property for the newer accessibility in lobby areas. The staff were terrific.... was great to see everyone dressed up for Halloween!!! I give special thanks to the morning breakfast room staff, they were just lovely and the food quality, offering and presentation was great. Overall a good experience and we would return. Great New England hospitality!

Pricey but charming

Newport News, Virginia, United States

Beautiful grounds, small pool. Good family spot..We did the lobster tour from there and it was fun and informative. Surrounded by beautiful homes and gardens. Kids loved the outdoor activities. The child were catching crabs off the dock
