Nice spot in Mystic

The Inn is mostly old style motel rooms with a mansion in a hill behind. Location is very convenient, near the Mystic Seaport museum and old town center is about 2 miles. Breakfast is included. Not fancy, but very comfortable and reasonably priced. There is also a pizza restaurant on the property.

Fine place to stay

I was a bit leery of the place due to a couple of very negative reviews, but we found our room to be large, clean, with nice repro colonial furniture, well-appointed bathroom with new retro fixtures and separate toilet/shower. The room was right across the parking lot from the restaurant where we had an excellent meal, seated watching sunset over the water and the Amtrak tracks..fun to watch. If you were taking the train, this place is a short walk from the station. Across the street is a little 17th/early 18th c. Graveyard. The breakfast room is clean, the food adequate but no fresh fruit. Nice people at the desk. And nice to be on the shore and away from the clutch of chain motels by I 95.
