Colonial Revival mansion set in 14 acres of grounds

The Inn at Mystic is an historic hotel situated minutes from the centre of Mystic and plenty of local attractions. The main attraction here is the building itself which has been run as a hotel for more than fifty years and was built many years before it became a hotel. Offering beautiful harbour views and 14 acres of landscaped grounds, guests can choose an Adirondack chair and take in the surroundings or instead head out on one of the many trails nearby for a peaceful stroll. There’s also a swimming pool for seasonal use, a putting green, tennis courts and kayaks for seasonal use so you’ll never be stuck for things to do. After you’ve tired yourself out with the many activities on offer, why not finish the day with a delicious meal at the acclaimed Harbour House restaurant?

Beautiful Setting High on a Hill Overlooking Mystic River

New Hampshire

This was a great find through a voucher on TravelZoo! Stayed one night on our way north from Virginia and were so happy to find this treasure! Our standard King room was huge with a nice sitting area with love seat and another comfy chair, a beautiful balcony on the 2nd floor overlooking the Mystic River and a marina. It is an older property, but very well maintained and extremely clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we also had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. A continental breakfast was included that was nice and easy for us to start the day. Unfortunately their highly rated restaurant was closed on Monday, we would have loved to had dinner there that evening after reading all the positive reviews on the Harbor House Restaurant. We highly recommend this very nice quaint hotel in a historic seaport!

What a horrible experience

I got a couple rooms for Mother’s Day. As soon as I got here I regretted it immediately. I was greeted by a rude and unprofessional receptionist. When I got to my room it was a shock to find a dirty pair of socks under the dresser. Not to mention the rust found in the bathroom. When I informed the staff about the dirty socks they didn’t even clean it, they gave me a 10 dollar voucher that I had to use that same night. Breakfast was average but the staffs attitude made it worse. If you want a cool view with poor service and outed rooms this is the place for you.
