Great hotel to get away from the hustle and bustle

New York

The Waldorf Las Vegas is a quiet paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip. You are within walking distance of the Aria and New York, New York, but the Waldorf itself is peaceful and quiet because there's no casino. I would definitely stay here again.

Horrific stay

Hermosa Beach, California

The Waldorf bought the Mandarin hotel and they have not updated anything. Room furniture is dingy, mold In corners of bathroom, furniture has scratches, Knick’s and dents that are left unfixed. The bathtubs have rubber moldy stops (I had to call 3x to have the disgusting rubber stop replaced with a clean metal one). Every single meal we had there had to be returned and cooked (eggs weren’t cooked, charcuterie had mold and meat was expired, drinks they accidentally forgot the alcohol and the soda water gun had gone flat). Cleaning is gross and absent, hotel management told me they’re taking a tiered approach to getting the cleaning done better some rooms are suffering (horrifying). TV volume was broken so engineering had to come up and fix it. THEN after arguing with me for 30 minutes about our check out bill they finally admitted their account system is having an issue and double charging all guests...something they’re working on. I’m still stuck wasting my time on getting the bill corrected (charged daily on my credit card, double for parking & given a bill at check out). This is NOT a hotel I would ever stay at again. It’s dirty, poor service, small Pool and food is terrible.
