Yes, it can be loud

Bedminster, New Jersey

Great location right in the middle of The Strip. Consequently, it can be loud. Guestroom windows definitely not soundproofed when renovation was done in 2014. Most sidewalk noise is not noticeable, but car horns, sirens are definitely loud. Also, don't forget about the rooftop club! 2,500 wannabees partying at the outdoor beach club during the day and on the rooftop nightclub until 4am Thursday-Sunday. The hotel is relatively quiet other weekdays compared with the large resort properties.

Great change of pace Hotel

Binghamton, New York

Having stayed at most every major resort on the Strip, I was excited to do something different and try the smaller Cromwell. Glad I did. Was an excellent experience through and through. The staff was genuinely friendly in a way I've never experienced in Vegas. I think that's partly a function of their small boutique size. I saw the same faces each day. The guy at Eatwell who served my coffee was a really good guy, even remembered my order. As were the pair I saw working each day at the sports book. (God I wish I was better at remembering names.) They of course have their world class nightclub Drais, which admittedly is not my thing. I was worried we'd be overrun by the kids coming and going but that was not the case at all. Besides, it's an extremely upscale club, so my worries of being surrounded by drunken frat bros were unfounded. Drais fits right in with the upscale and elegant experience Cromwell provides. As for the noise, at least from the 5th floor, it wasn't an issue at all. As someone who frequents a lot of different casinos regardless of where I stay, the best part is the location. I'd go from my room to the Strip in literally 3 minutes, with Bellagio, Bally's, Caesars, and Flamingo just steps away. All in all, Cromwell was a great stay and while Venetian and Bellagio have always been my primary choices, I'll be adding The Cromwell to the list without question.
