Iconic luxury Las Vegas hotel

Rome is not in ruin, but thriving in all its classic splendour! Caesars Palace is ancient Rome to the hilt; everything from the huge 'Garden of the Gods' pool area, to the Colosseum Theatre and Forum shops is adorned with subtle and not-so-subtle touches. Discover statues, columns, cypresses and fountains at every turn, not forgetting the sky-effect ceiling which changes colour as it goes through a 24-hour day every hour! The aforementioned Colosseum plays host to big names like Celine Dion, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Shania Twain.

There are 11 restaurants in the hotel and 17 in the Forum Shops all offering a wide variety of cuisine including Michelin Star Chef Gordon Ramsay 's Pub & Grill. There are nightclubs like the famous PURE, as well as many bars, lounges and quality restaurants for dining and socialising, and a spectacular pool area for relaxing in the desert sunshine. And of course you can go from Nero to Hero at the hotel's themed casino.

The QUA Baths and Spa at Caesar’s Palace has been voted the ‘Best Spa Experience’ in the 2015 Best of Las Vegas Awards, making your stay just that little bit more special.  Please see facilities for details of local resort fees.

Over the top (and comfortable)

Dingwall, United Kingdom

We stayed at Caesars Palace for three nights to attend a wedding. We had a king room in the Augustus tower with a view of the strip - floor 34 room 78. The room was very large, well decorated and equipped. The bathroom had a double vanity, bath with separate shower. The loo was in a separate cubicle. In addition to the bedroom furniture we also had a dining table and chairs and a couch and coffee table. There is nothing in the room which is complementary- not even water. Our room had a Kuerig coffee machine - the hotel charges $12 for four coffee pods. We bought a box of 12 coffee pods from the CVS pharmacy across the street for the same price. The hotel also charge if you store your own drinks / groceries in the mini-bar. The room was very quiet - it felt s long way from the chaos of the lobby / casino / strip. We slept well. The Hotel gym is well equipped - all the facilities at excellent. Although I’ve travelled a lot, this is the first time I’ve encountered a hotel of this scale. The casino, shopping malls, restaurants seem to go on for ever - quite an experience. The food in the hotel is good and very expensive. I’ll write separate reviews on the restaurants. We first night we arrived, after a long drive, we wanted something simple so bought fresh fruit and sandwiches in the CVS Pharmacy- a very useful place. Las Vegas is not our kind of city - if you are going, Caesars Palace will look after you well. Be prepared to spend.

Was less than thrilled

Coatesville, Pennsylvania

From Check in when they said my corp. card had not been pre-approved despite prior authorization of the required deposit, to them turning off our keys the first day and not allowing my sister access to the room because they had neglected to put her on their system as a guest. Then charging almost $100 in mini-bar fees even when nothing was used and after agreeing to refund those charges, charging a $25 "restocking" fee. Additionally, there's no security on the elevators so anyone can (and did) follow you up to your room. Some of the lights in the room were not functioning, the bathroom and hall tiles were so smooth that getting out of the shower or just walking through with socks on was hazardous. There's too many other hotels in Las Vegas to ever want to deal with this hotel again.
