A wonderful stay!

Boston, Massachusetts

It’s an iconic hotel located in the heart of Boston city. Its grand lavish lobby gives the hotel classic European baroque atmosphere. It is well-maintained for sure. It has been remodeled without giving up some traces of history. Some people might criticize they didn’t do a good job at renovation, but I would say those traces of history are just there to remind people its golden time. The staff is absolutely professional and friendly. The room is spacious enough and the beds are also very comfortable. I can find everything I need in the room, including a huge walking closet. Some old hotels has a weird smell even after remodeling, but this one doesn’t. My friend and I both enjoyed our two-night stay here. I can tell that the management and its staff try hard and did a good job to keep its glory. Besides fancy chic modern hotels, I start to appreciate this old style one with history more.

incredibly disappointing

Jerusalem, Israel

paid to be on the Gold level floor. the lounge was the only bright spot of my stay. great food, wonderful service, spacious area. my room, on the other hand, was dingy. small, very few amenities(no washcloth for example), dark, old tub shower, no grab bar, was worried about falling, etc. would never stay here again, sorry.
