Hilton Hawaiian Village

The only resort on Waikiki Beach

Set in 22 tropically landscaped acres, Hilton Hawaiian Village is literally a resort in it's own right.  The paradise pool which boasts Waikiki's longest waterslide and overlooks the five acre lagoon also houses four slides, three waterfalls and two heated spas.  There's also a whole host of entertainment, both sporting and cultural, and a mouthwatering choice of over 20 restaurants.  Not to mention the stunning white sands brushed by the waves of the Pacific Ocean.  Why not opt for a room in the oceanfront Alii or Rainbow towers where you can be assured of the best views!  Please see facilities for details of local resort fees and relevant updates.

Hawaiian Vacation

Haverhill, Massachusetts

We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort from March 7-15 ( before all the hype) It was awesome, we did upgrade to the Rainbow Tower Ocean View that was just gorgeous. Great location and has everything in walking distance.

Pleasant, but not the real Hawaii

East coast

We stayed 2 nights at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, with friends who were waiting to start a cruise. I dropped everybody off at the lobby to check in, and then asked a staff member where I could park cheaper than the hotel rates for self parking. He gave good directions to the nearby Yacht harbor parking, where metered parking was $1/hr and could be up to 24 hours. It was a small hike back to the lobby, but worth it. My friends were still in the Honors check in line (shorter than the regular line), and we were told our room was not ready, so we went to the Tropics bar for (high priced) drinks while we waited. When we went to the Ali'i Tower , we found out that our room (315) was very far from the elevator. So we went down to change rooms. There, we found a friendly concierge in the lobby who changed us to room 322, which was very close to the elevator (a concern for my girlfriend). This room had a king bed, TV, small fridge, 2-seat sofa, desk and chair, 1 cup coffee maker, iron and ironing board, electronic safe, and a patio with 2 chairs and a table. The bathroom had a tub and shower. Also in the room were 2 robes, big glasses, and a clock. We used the business center in the lobby to print out luggage tags for our friends taking the cruise. We didn't use either the pools or the beach, as it was too cold (especially the pools). But to see Diamond Head, I had to go way out on the beach. And we enjoyed the fireworks on Friday night, seeing them from the small bar near the pool on the 2nd floor. We used the Wikiwiki market for breakfast items. I thought it was nice that there was a separate concierge for Japanese speaking tourists. And at checkout, the staff was helpful loading our luggage into the car. A nice hotel, but not a real Hawaiian experience (as we had been to Hawaii before), and I doubt we'd go again.
