LOVE THE STAFF! A+ Service! (but, Everything else, not so much!)

First, the staff is great and very accommodating. Special thanks to the help and service of Nicky, Quincy, and Grant. From helping me with getting me what I needed (handing boxes, mailings, toiletries, etc.) to also being great people to laugh with and talk to, these three really made my stay better. I give this hotel 4 stars because the room is very tight. You sit on the toilet and your knees hit the sink. Also get a shelf in the bathroom for me to put a toothbrush on. Ohm and a trumpet player outside of Fox played the Billy Joel Uptown Girls song repeatedly from 11pm to 1am outside of the hotel. Not even the entire song, more like half of the chorus over and over again. The food in the restaurant blows. do not eat there. 1 star food. The coffee from the cafe down the block is good and so is Escorpion a few blocks down. GREAT STAFF! Average everything else.

Convenient location in Midtown

Starkville, Mississippi

Stayed here overnight after our flight home was disrupted by weather and many hotels near the airport were full. We used to live in the area and frequented Midtown on a regular basis, but this was our first overnight stay at this location. The hotel is only one block from the North Avenue MARTA station and right across the street from the Fox Theater. The hotel is in an older classic building that’s been renovated in typically hip Hotel Indigo style. However, the regular rooms are not overly spacious, as to be expected in an older building. That said, the room was quiet, warm and comfy, and the bed was terrific — slept like a baby. The bathroom was tight, but the shower was spacious, so it was a good trade off. The front desk was short- handed due to the weather, but folks were friendly and as efficient as they could be. The small bar/bistro in the lobby was comfortable and friendly. The food was bar cuisine, but the hamburger and flatbreads were still a tasty dinner. Would definitely visit again.
