I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The only negative might be the size of bathrooms if guests are rather large or elderly. I had a difficult time by booking on and immediately the general manager who met me at my check in, Gabrielle Webster, corrected the problem. She is outstandingly friendly and outgoing. I am hoping they keep her at this Indigo Hotel for a little no time. I have pre-booked rooms with this hotel through August 2019 while attending cultural events. The entire staff, when encountered were polite, friendly, and helpful. I did not eat there, however the bartender was very nice and good at mixing drinks.

Great location, being renovated, not great bar or breakfast

Fristly the good: really fr. iendly front desk staff, a boutique hotel, good free wifi, a great location opposite the Fox Theater in a safe part of town, good AC in the room, lots of IHG points to be earned. Now for the not so good: they are renovating some floors and the noise was really bad until 6pm (I overheard some people asking to move to a different hotel, it was so bad). Before you book, call the hotel to see if the renos are finished. The buffet breakfast was really poor; do not expect a good breakfast here. For example the sausage patties were clearly from the previous day, they were so hard I could have broken a window with them. The problem with the bar during the early evening is that people call in before heading to the theater so it's busy with not enough staff. I sat and waited to order for 20 minutes, no server even acknowledged me, so I gave up and went elsewhere. Even when the bar was quiet the server was inattentive and frustrating. BTW as you can see in the pic, I had the world's smallest bathroom! I would stay here again after the renos are done but I would go elsewhere for breakfast and drinks.
