great visit for a month....

Clinton, Massachusetts, United States

I want to compliment the housekeeper in charge of our room, Fatima. She cleaned our room today, and her efforts were phenomenal. Her efforts were the best I've ever experienced at this resort. And I've been here many times.

Lots to Do, Fun Vibe, Great Staff

Tampa, Florida

We stayed in the Breckenridge Building of the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort, in a "no view" studio. We were only there for two nights but had a great time and didn't want to leave. We had two thirteen year old girls with us, and they enjoyed the slide on the beach (which is open even in January) and the paddleboats. My husband and I enjoyed the beachfront bar with small firepits in the center of the tables, the pools and hot tubs, and the beach cabanas. The live music was great and made for a nice vibe. The resort is well-staffed and the staff have been well-trained in customer service and really seem to enjoy working there. The breakfast buffet is great and the whole family enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores which are open from 7-9 pm down at the sister resort, the Guy Harvey Outpost which is a short walk north on the beach. There are a number of restaurants and pools there, and an ice cream shop. The kitchenettes have a very small sink which makes washing dishes a challenge, but we did cook our meals there and did OK. The coffeemaker is a small one, and there is a microwave and Corelle dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls for 4 and also flatware. There is a small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a dish cloth and towel, and a small refrigerator. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was small but otherwise OK. There are so many amenities and activities at the resort, you would never need to leave, although you will probably want to because there is a lot to see and do in the area. In summary, this place is fantastic, and we will return as often as we get the chance.
