Well deserved break

I visited Disneyland Florida Orlando for a week and stayed at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace hotel. I went with my friend who had never visited USA. I must say we were blown away by everything...the view from our hotel room, the kind staff and the general atmosphere. The food was a little dear in the LetterPress so we ate in the restaurants at the nearby Disney Springs shopping centre. We toured the surrounding resorts like the A frame contemporary resort....magical adventure.

Could be way better

Summit, New Jersey

Bring a motorized scooter to get from your car to the Island Tower rooms. It was ridiculous. There are no staff or services in the Island Tower so you have to go back to the main building for everything (Breakfast, Exercise room, etc.) You can cut through the convention center to reduce your walk but at night there is nobody in there. A little shady. The staff was friendly and helpful but this hotel is geared towards the convention center. An entire parking lot was taken by a temporary (permanent) convention tent. The pool was nice but poolside services were closed. Find another place until they fix.
