Disney's Boardwalk Inn Resort

We stayed here at the end of September into October 2018 and it was by far our favourite Disney trip to date. The staff here are truly exceptional and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The location of this hotel is perfect and offers numerous transportation options. The walk to both Epcot and Hollywood studios is pleasant and after a busy day at the parks, when transport back to resorts gets a little busy, the option to stroll back is perfect. Alternatively, the Disney boats are a great experience and the Disney buses located conveniently outside of the main entrance to the hotel were always timely and efficient. The transportation at this hotel is the best we have experienced. The general decor of the hotel is so pretty to look at and is light, airy and welcoming. Every inch of the hotel was kept immaculately clean. The pool areas were lovely, spacious and the with a convenient pool bar serving drinks and snacks. The larger pool always has a slide which kept our daughter entertained consistently whenever we spent a few hours by the pool. Our room overlooked the boardwalk, so much so, we could watch entertainment from the balcony. There was always something going on at the hotel, magicians amongst others, which myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed. The movie nights on the grassy area located just off the boardwalk we’re always a great hit. The boardwalk offers numerous shops and eateries, including a pizza window and a bakery that sold breakfast bagels. These can be purchased with your dining plan as a snack and are great if you want to grab a quick breakfast to go on your way to the parks. There is also a bar on the main floor of the hotel that serves drinks and some breakfast items, including fruit. Overall, this hotel has set the bar high for any upcoming Disney world holidays. It was the most magical Disney holiday to date and I hope we can visit this hotel again in the future. I’d like to pay special thanks to the staff here at the hotel that work tirelessly but always with a smile on their face, always welcoming and friendly. Our stroller was stolen from Epcot on our first night and I was blown over by how helpful the staff at the boardwalk were. I cannot thank you enough. What a truly wonderful holiday! Until next time!

We spent a week at the Boardwalk. Unlike at other resorts, housekeeping doesn't create fun towel creatures. Also, the tv goes out when it storms, so for 3 nights in a row, we had no tv. Mousekeeping also left the door to our balcony wide open one day, and although it was reported, no follow up was done by the hotel.

This hotel is located on the - shocker - boardwalk area near Epcot at Disney. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and shops in very close walking distance. The lobby is good size. Front desk staff were helpful. The hotel is actually quite large. If you have rooms on the outer edges, even in air conditioning, it can be quite a long walk. The pool areas are nice. They are not the best pools in the Disney resort arsenal, but they are fine. The room I had turned out to be a corner room. It was of very good size. There is a large flat screen. There is a fridge. The bathroom was good size. There is plenty of lighting. The bed was comfortable. There was a nice balcony with a few chairs and a small table. The gym is pretty large and has a good amount of equipment. It has better than average weight equipment. I would definitely come back.
