Decent Place

Detroit, Michigan

I stayed here in April for the Tortuga Festival. I loved that was away from all the festival chaos yet too far either. Our room could have been cleaner but I'm not real needy. The pool area was nice and relaxing. I loved the amount of umbrellas available to use. We did speak to a manager the first day about our room being a little dirty and he offered to upgrade us the next us. He had excellent customer service skills and was very friendly. Another pro to my experience was they allowed us to check in extremely early which I always appreciate after traveling on little to sleep. Overall, I loved it and I'll be back next year.

Old Hotel but Nice

Arcola, Virginia

Great hotel and friendly staff. Would have given 5-stars if not for cleanliness of the lobby and patio areas. Need to have more maintenance presence during times when there are alot of guests coming in and waiting and ordering food and drinks by the lounge in front of the lobby and tables are not cleaned and dirty dishes and glass not picked up. Also the complimentary water are not refilled including the cups. Also this location is not accessible to nearby shops and need a car to get there.
