Disabled Access good - Hotel a little far out of the way

Rugby, United Kingdom

Disabled room good. seat in shower and grab rails. access to areas good. Staff friendly. Our room was overlooking the highway and the noise on the balcony was harendous. I did request a move, but was told there were no other disabled rooms available at that time, they would get back to me the following day. They didn't! and we had 4 days of not being able to hear ourselves think if we wanted fresh air in the room or to sit on the balcony. I would advise paying extra for a disabled room overlooking the pool, should there be such a thing. We ate reasonable meals at the outside bar in the evening, there being a good few blocks to go to a resturant and pathways around the accommodation, acceptable just. We had breakfast at the Harbour cafe in the morning which was lovely and just before the Harbour shopping centre. There was an Italian Restuarant on the corner before the Harbour shopping centre, but we were too tired to go there in the evening. The trolley bus passes a short walk away from the hotel and the hotel has a free shuttle bus which takes you to a beach area by their sister hotel, but there is very little else in this area.

Amazing Hotel!

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, 7 days and it was the best! Staff was amazing, very clean, great views. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay! We were staying in the little side part of the hotel for three nights, then decided to extend our stay. During it, the power outage was going to go out so free of charge we got upgraded to the main building, both were great with great views. Looking forward to staying again! Oh, and the fitness center is great!
