Amazing Stay but be prepared to pay!!! Housekeeping needs help!!

We just left yesterday (June 2019) after a 5 night stay. The resort is beautiful and majority of the staff is amazing. Our room was on the 5th floor over looking the pool. Beautiful view. Bests rooms are direct gulf front or over looking the pool. The rooms are in nice condition and beds where confortable. We loved the breakfast buffet but had a horrible experience our last day eating there as they started spraying some chemical all around us for the rug and the smell was unbearable. We could taste it. We told the manager and they did comp our breakfast. Pool area is amazing along with the pool. You are able to have floats, noodles ect. Have to give a shout out the the amazing pool staff who did a great job!! Tates is the resturant by the pool and has pretty good quick pool side food or beachside food. We did have one waitress (Lindsey) who disappeared on us and other waiters had to finally find her. Very disappointed with her service. All other waiters/ waitresses where great. Housekeeping needs A LOT of help. Our shower had other peoples hair all over the walls which grosses me out, we did not have face clothes and we where missing a hairdryer. Trying to get these things to our room at times was differcult. Also asked a lady to rempve towels and give new ones. O left the room and she never even came in to do any of what she stated she would. I also do not believe the vacuum after each guest. They need alot of help. Our overall experience was great and we had a blast. My 7 year old had plenty of kids to play with so this is defanitly a family resort. He loved the movies each night by the pool. Great place for families.

Wonderful hotel, great rooms, excellent service

We really enjoyed this place. Rooms were very nice and the service we experienced was great as well. Everyone we encountered (staff) was great. Clean, high quality rooms. The only thing we didn’t care for is how the resort property ends and there’s public beach property between the hotel property and the ocean. Lots of people between you and the water setting up traveling tents, etc. Very disappointed in that. Pool area is pretty crowded. Hotel needs to do a little better policing all of chairs being “saved” for hours by people that aren’t even at the pool. The security guy, Matt, is a nice guy trying to do a great job. He’s in a tough situation keeping so many unauthorized people out of the resort and pool area. Hotel could do better here as well. The “unauthorized visitors” definitely put a damper on the atmosphere and overall experience.
