Terrible hotel

Seattle, Washington

We stayed at the Blackstone the last time we were in Chicago. I expected this hotel to be comparable, but it definitely was not. Service was terrible, rooms were ok. Why would anyone stay here?! If you're looking for something central, there are dozens of other hotels to stay at!

Exceptional Hotel

Las Vegas, Nevada

We stayed here while visiting family. Our first night was the last night to dine out in Chicago before the state wide lockdown for the Chinese Coronavirus. We got a steakhouse recommendation from the front desk and the concierge made our reservation. (RPM Steak, not to be missed!) When we checked in we received a room upgrade to Executive suite with an incredible river/lake view on the 21st floor. The room was amazing. Beautifully appointed with classy, modern and comfortable furnishings, bedding and linens. The room had a full kitchen with granite countertops. Since we were there during the Chinese Coronavirus lockdown on dining, we relied heavily on in room dining. The food and service were top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to repeat it in the future.
