California Coastal Chic Hotel

Right on the Pacific ocean, with the Marina on your doorstep, the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Resort & Spa has just had a fantastic 5 million transformation. It's a coastal oasis in the heart of the Mission Bay area - rooms are stylish and modern with great views of the city or ocean. Close to Seaworld(R) and the San Diego Zoo the kids will love their days out but there's so much onsite as well to make the msot of this marina side location. San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter is a short drive away, and you can take in the gorgeous vistas as you stroll along the beachfront boardwalk. <br />

Beautiful rooms in the refurbished tower but expensive food options

Buffalo, New York

Nice hotel with large, comfortable and clean rooms. The view from the tower is good and the pool is a nice centerpiece. It is heated with slides. Onsite shops are expensive. The Red Marlin restaurant is good quality but a breakfast buffet for two people was billed at $72 - not an everyday activity. The hotel is self contained and distant from other restaurants etc. but well served by Uber and Lyft. Parking is expensive. For conference purposes the support was good. There was construction noise during the day that bothered some people. A multitude of charges will be added to the bill including San Diego Tour Marketing, and Group Resort Fee plus tax on both.

Don't waste your money

I was looking forward to staying at this location, but upon arrival my lights weren't working, it was disgustingly dirty behind the chair where I had to reach to turn on the lamp that didn't work. I was afraid to put my jacket on the chair since it looked like no one had stayed in that room for ages! The fridge wasn't working, the desk lamp wasn't working and it was so smelly I had to buy room deodorizer to make it livable. Then upon check out I found a number of meals had been charged to my room that I never ordered! I'm STILL waiting for the hotel to call me back.
