Great stay!

Leeds, United Kingdom

A great stay here! We had a few days here and really enjoyed out stay. The bar tenders were fantastic and so were the morning staff - they were rushed off their feet though! all of the staff were really friendly and helpful to us. The rooms were a good size with plenty of space. i like that they had a patio for you to sit out on! The cinema club is also a great idea! I think the daily service charge per person was quite expensive though to cover wifi etc especially if you're then paying for the parking on top it worked out at an extra $105 per day!

Luxe Hotel not so luxe

Stayed one night at the Luxe Hotel while in Los Angeles for work. Overall it is an ok hotel but not modern or clean enough considering the price. LOTS of issues with cleanliness considering this is supposed to be a five star hotel. Lobby/ Check In: Lobby was nice and they have a great “luxe club” where you can get breakfast or happy hour included. Check in is a bit casual, wasn’t sure if it was actually where you check in. Reminded me of when you go to a bank and you sit with a private banker. Fast and efficient check in which I can appreciate. Location: Bougie and right in the center of luxury shopping Room: Normal room with king bed. This is where the visit started to really go downhill. First of all, the AC is abnormally loud, not sure how you can sleep in this noise. Secondly, did someone inspect this room at all?? There was hair in the bathtub And even worse, a little cluster of knotted hair tangled up in the one towel I used to dry after showering. I know it’s not my hair because it’s not the right color AND I didn’t wash my hair when I was showering. Gross!! And then chair with the desk is really stained. Time for new upholstery. Furnishings in general are very outdated and feels old, and not in a “cool” way. Pillow also had some marks... Which you would think you could bleach. Hard to sleep in the bedroom after seeing all this. Conclusion: Nice public spaces (lobby, penthouse) but room doesn’t feel clean, instead feels old and dirty. Wouldn’t stay here again because of that, especially with the price of the room!
