Very nice but pricey

Coeur d'Alene

Hotel was nice and clean. Service was great at check in and check out - no lines. The maid service was great - no carts in the halls but room always cleaned when I was out. The price was awfully high for the relatively basic room.

Very nice stay in a historic hotel

Chicago, Illinois

Overall, a very nice hotel for the price. Staff is top quality. In a previous stay, I was in the main building, and the room was great, no problems at all. In the part that is away from reception (sorry, forget the name of the tower), it appears to be under renovation even while they are renting rooms. My room was clearly not yet renovated - bed was sagging, hot and cold faucets were reversed - but it was clean and ok. Noise and smell from renovation were not noticeable. Main point - check if you are in the tower being renovated, and if your rate reflects that. Otherwise, nice hotel.
