Birthday getaway

February is our son and daughters birthday month and since their school is out for a week in February, we decided to spend a few days at the beach. We had never stayed at SeaCrest but after looking through the website and everything the hotel had to offer, I decided to book. They did not disappoint! Our whole experience there was great. Check-in is at 4 but we were able to check-in at Noon. I’m sure had it been peak season we would not have been able to check in so early but, that would have been understandable. We stayed in room 144; double queen with ocean front view. We loved being able to sit on our patio and have breakfast, drink our coffee or wine, or just simply sit and enjoy the view. We could walk right out our patio door and over to the look out. The room had a nice sized tv, a keurig coffee maker (which they provided a couple of coffee and tea pods), a mini fridge and bath robes. The beds were comfortable although the pillows were a little big for my liking, but not anything terribly uncomfortable. The only disappointment was that the room didn’t have a bathtub, only a shower. After walking along the beach all day, it would have been nice to relax in a bath however, with 3 nice size hot tubs available, we soaked in those instead. We got in every night even with the wind and rain. There are fire pits located outside the lobby area and facing the pool, as well as a couple of fire pits on the rooftop. My kids especially loved sitting up there with their hot chocolate, enjoying the fire and looking out over the ocean. My husband and I were able to sit and enjoy our wine in front of the fire. It was a bit windy one night so we didn’t enjoy it as long but it was nice while it lasted. The hotel offers beach access but if you are one of those who like to bring ice chests, chairs, umbrellas, etc. and like to stay closer to the pier and restaurants, prepare for a long walk. The hotel is probably the furthest in the strip to offer beach access. This didn’t bother us one bit. We enjoyed the nice, long walk playing in the water and picking up shells as we made our way to the pier and restaurants/shops. We did this a couple of times a day but we didn’t pack anything down to the beach. The hotel also provided a continental breakfast; scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereals, pancakes, waffles, toast, pastries, fruit, juices and coffee. We always ate breakfast there. Consider this hotel for your next stay.

Best Ocean Views

We stayed here last week and were lucky to be placed in the newly remodeled rooms with oceanfront views! Beautiful room with comfy bed and fluffy towels! Customer service was excellent! We enjoyed the fire pits in the evening while watching the sunset. Will definitely be back again ❤️
