Al Wadi Desert, A Ritz-Carlton Partner Hotel

Write your own Arabian fairytale in the desert

Beyond the highways and skyscrapers of Dubai, nestled inside the tree-scattered desert of Ras Al Khaimah; Al Wadi Desert, A Ritz-Carlton Partner Hotel is a peaceful Arabian-style retreat in the sand. Made up of luxurious villas — each wonderfully-appointed and with private pools — the resort has an award-winning spa with an excellent hydrotherapy facility called The Rainforest, and exceptional dining opportunities like the Thai restaurant Safran, and Al Waha overlooking a natural watering hole. The wildlife rich surroundings are home to Gazelle and Oryx, while the onsite falconry centre has many feathered residents. Couples will love private dining on the tower and candlelit shisha on the rooftop bar while families will appreciate the kids' club. The Experience Concierge team is at hand, offering a great service to personalise extraordinary programmes to make sure you have a truly unforgettable desert getaway.

The desert resort you need to see!

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

I spent a mini-honeymoon at the Ritz Carlton Al Wadi in March and it was an exceptional experience. The Villas The villas are awesome with their own private pool, which is open to the desert but the layout of the villas allows them to be fairly private. The rooms are quite spacious, comfortable and with a massive walk-in bathroom that is almost as big as the bedroom itself. The amenities are awesome in this hotel. Our villa has a lovely bathroom surrounded by windows (in private), shower, private toilet, double sinks and even a round seat in the middle. The room itself has a walk-in closet, living room, and a lovely spacious outdoor area overlooking the infinity pool, which is kept warm at 28+ degrees at all times. The resort Exceptional in services and cater to every need is how I would define them. Buggies are available 24/7 to take you to and from any location in the 500 hectare land, service is amazing and every member of staff attempts to go over and beyond to support, help and make your stay special. They will take as many buggy rides to you as you need! Due to the space and vast areas, even if the place is full, you’ll hardly even notice it. They have spaced it out brilliantly. The entertainment We experienced the falcon show, stargazing, explored the wildlife and even visited their horses, camels, owls and even rabbits! There are a lot of lovely animals to interact with and visit/feed. Great for families who love animals. While you have a private pool, there is a large public one, which seems to be rarely used since everyone is in their own. The food Plenty of choice from 3 restaurants and room-service available 24/7. The restaurants also change menus from lunch and dinner so you’re always spoilt for choice. A quick chat with a chef and they’ll make you almost what ever you may want. The Moroccan restaurant is awesome, popping with flavors and is quite unique. Their international restaurant has a wide selection of choices from all over the world and their steakhouse is known for amazing steaks. If you want it to go a step further you can set up private dining, which was a dream. The food was amazing, more food than you could want. The seclusion across multiple areas and service was as if you’re a royal. Pricey at 2600AED but definitely worth it for that one special occasion. Verdict Once of the nicest resorts in the UAE, mixing great space, private villas, amazing service and delicious dining. I would definitely return and is 100% recommended to everyone staying here. Enjoy my pictures, there is a lot of lovely things to see!

Unreal Anniversary Dinner at Farmhouse

I had a marvelous first time at Farmhouse. It was quite a joyous experience , the place had excellent ambiance, kind and welcoming staff and through and through amazing food . It was one of the most memorable steaks I have ever had and it came along with an amazing ensemble of sides and appetizers. Highly recommended. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner unforgettable.
