Heaven on Earth

Newark, New Jersey

There definitely is a heaven on earth I found it at Beaches Turks and Caicos! The impeccable service begins immediately upon your arrival. You are welcomed with a delicious refreshing drink, cool towel and a warm smile! You are checked-in and provided with an overview of all the activities and amenities to begin your most memorable vacation ever! The resort is worth every single penny! They will satisfy your every request! I wanted a whole fried red snapper with plantains that was not on the menu and magically it was prepared! The chef was George from Neptune extremely accommodating! All of the employees are professional and delivered services with dignity, respect and courtesy! They go beyond the call of duty to ensure you are satisfied. You will not be disappointed with "ALL" of the pools, turquoise beautiful beach, scrumptious food, and enormous array of libation options at all of the restaurants and the entertainment is fun, endless and equally as phenomenal! Whatever it is that you are searching for awaits for you at Beaches Turks and Caicos! Although, my first time it will definitely not be my last! Even when I had a minor medical issue the nurse and her team were superb! Special thanks to the following employees who made there job appear effortless and served with gladness you reign superior: Bayside: Miledy, Andrew, Moise Sky: Marjorie Neptunes:Nadine & chef George Sepodillas: Craig Barefoot: Rohan & Lloyd Kimonos: Orlando Schononers: Anthony Soy: Wilnise What are you waiting for, book your trip now!!! 4 BR Key West Villa w/ butler

Lakewood Ranch, Florida

Worth it for families? Yes First off Turks and Caicos Islands are amazing. The beaches are pristine and incredible. My wife and I had been to the island without kids before, rented a house, ate at fantastic restaurants and loved every aspect of our stay. This time we brought the whole crew and then some, 9 in all (with 5 kids ages 5-10). Since we fell in love with the island last time (sans kids) we wanted to see if it would be the same amazing experience with the kiddos at a top rated resort. Different experience for sure. First off let me say nothing is going to be perfect, so relax. I had to figure that out myself by day two. The adults had stayed at a Sandals (adults only but same company) in St Lucia before and the butler service was amazing, total top notch. I had my expectations set pretty high for Beaches especially for the large price tag. Our butlers this time were very good though we started off with some rough patches (Villa not ready till 6pm on day of arrival, missed items in room service several times (they were corrected though), WiFi very spotty or non existent at times (not their fault), slow service at times getting drinks (45 minutes one time but they have a lot on their plate). I started to realize that they have multiple “families” per day which require more attention and time than just adults, so we had to be patient, which is hard with needy kids and high service expectations. As we got to know them and they the same to us, things started to feel more like a vacation and things got much better. Service improved and was more prompt, snacks daily and at night in the room, etc. Started to feel like we were getting what we paid for. Beaches is really kid friendly and ours loved the water park, game rooms, tennis, pools, beach, food, ice cream, on and on. So many options and they were worn out by the end of everyday. For adults we had a great time and yes there was a large amount of the vacation tending to the kids (we didn’t feel like shipping them off to the kids club because we wanted to enjoy time with them), but overall plenty of relaxation. Kids club does have plenty of activities and you can go to the activity center and get board games, etc. The butler service is the way to go if you can afford it. Just the price of a small car, no biggy. Italian village cabana is a great spot to reserve close to the beach, pool, bar, etc. Food was just ok throughout, reminding me more of cruise cuisine but with a few exceptions being very good (Le Petite Chateau especially). Hit or miss with the staff. Most were friendly and a couple probably just needed a nap because they seemed a little grumpy. We had a few issues with the culinary desk for allergies (my wife is gluten free) and you are supposed to fill out what you want everyday, for every meal, and know which restaurant you are eating at for the whole vacation which we thought was a little ridiculous. She even filled forms out and some were delivered to the specific restaurants and some where not so we ended up talking with the chef half the time anyway. Things worked out though and she got to eat, so that was nice. Rooms were nice but living/dining area is a little cramped for 9 people but it worked so no complaints there. Overall the experience was great, the kids loved it and if I was traveling with the family I would stay at Beaches again. If it was my wife and I, probably not, just being honest. Oh and the butler tips at the end were very confusing at which rate to choose. I had read multiple comments stating from 30 to 50 to 100 dollars a day and beyond. Remember to factor that in after the fact of the original price. Enjoy!!
