Family Trip with 5 kids.

Greensboro, North Carolina

I recently got re-married in December, 2017 and we chose Beaches for our delayed 5-Night Family-Moon. I did not want just my wife and I to go on a honeymoon without the kids. She has 3 kids, ages 15,14,and 11. I have two sons, ages 17 & 15. While I am a very experienced business traveler, travelling with 7 to an international destination took some effort :) We spent the money and had the butler service for a villa in the Caribbean Village section. It was only steps from the beach, with beautiful water and white sand, and also very convenient for getting around to other areas of the resort. We had to explain the "all inclusive" thing to our kids, but they got into it after day one. When you can turn your children loose on a secure resort property, and they can eat what they want when they took a lot of pressure off of the parents for "overseeing". We had most dinners together as a family, with 2 nights for romantic dinners without any kids...the other reason for the butler service. The food was good, and very Americanized. And there was plenty of security staffing that made me feel at ease turning the kids loose. We were amazed at how quickly the resort has rebuilt after Hurricane Irma. The property is in great shape...possibly never better. The MOST IMPORTANT thing to know is that you are going to a Caribbean island that DEPENDS on tourist dollars. Stay sharp because there are always some "sharks in the water" trying to separate you and your money. The resort is safe from peddlers, but the beach is "public" and full of sharks working their daily "hustle". Having the butler reserve us chairs at the beach or at a poolside cabana was very nice, but I would not really "need" that if we didn't have such a large group. There was plenty of activities for kids of all ages, and this is the best family vacation I have ever experienced as a parent. I would not hesitate to take my family back to this resort. One special note, if you have teenage children, the drinking age is 18 and older kids can work the 17 year old son had every bartender convinced he was 18 and it is hard to check ID in a bathing suit on the beach or at a swim up bar.

Greeley, Colorado

My wife and I were recently married at this resort and we have to say if could not have been a better wedding in a better spot. Patricia was fantastic at helping us plan the wedding. Make sure too see Judy if you go. She is fantastic and really goes out of her way to make sure you have a good time. We even requested her as our wedding dinner bartender and she couldn't have done a better job! All in all a fantastic resort with very good people. We will be back.
