Surrounded by rainforest, the Cha Da Thai Village Resort is ideally situated within 7 acres of landscaped gardens and is only a 10 minute walk from the white sands of the Ao Nang Beach. With a mixture of traditional and contemporary Thai architectural and blends of Ayutthaya style, this family resort provides an established home from home. The resort is made up of two and three story buildings surrounding the three swimming pools, creating a village atmosphere and offering all rooms with swimming pool views as standard. One of the main swimming pools offers a swim up bar, and there is also a children’s swimming pool and play area to keep families entertained.

For those looking for some pampering, then a visit to the Vimala Spa is a must. The in resort Spa offers well-being treatments, a steam room and sauna to help you unwind even more. Even though you are ideally located to the local town, there is still a great choice available in one the dining venues at the resort from the open air Greenery Restaurant where you will start your day with a hearty breakfast to authentic Thai cuisines at the Rotisserie Restaurant, with views of Nopparat Thara Bay from its pavilion location. Before heading out to explore Ao Nang, don’t forget to enjoy your favourite beverage or cocktail at Cat’s Eye Lobby Bar or at the hotels exclusive private Beach Club. For your convenience complimentary WiFi is available in public areas, from 1st November complimentary WiFi will be available throughout the resort.

Brilliant

I would recommend this hotel, staff friendly, rooms large with everything you need for your stay even umbrella and beach bag. Hotel very central with 3 excellent restaurants near by, carnivore, hilltop and bussata. Breakfast has a good variety, egg station, breads, pastries, hot and cold meats, good variety of fruits. Thank you enjoyed my stay.

Renovations

Nice hotel with good split level family rooms but is 3 story walk up (no lift) which may not suit everyone. We were not advised they were completing renovations so most of hotel was closed. We checked in and went to pool for swim and drink to find one pool closed (the one with slide that kids were looking forward to) and the sound of jackhammers rather disruptive so took them up on offer to move to the sister property. Reception staff helpful and very apologetic.

Late twenties couple - Enjoyed our week stay!

My partner and I genuinely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and can’t believe some of the latest reviews, people are so nit-picky. Room - comfortable sized room with decent bed, no issues with WiFi, shower was great, bath needs a little tic... handy little phone you can take out and about with you (unfortunately we didn’t realise how handy it would be until too late haha). Free bottles of water daily and they actually tidied our toiletries etc which was a nice touch. Hairdryer was crap - if you have thick hair take your own 😂 Cleaners - all really friendly btw! Pool - they have the family friendly one and the adult only one. Honestly had it to ourselves most of the time due to it being low season.. yes there were ongoing building works but as we’re not really the type to spend hours lazing by the pool it wasn’t really an issue for us. Breakfast - had a buffet style breakfast with lots of options - fruit/cereal/toast/croissants/streaky bacon, they’ll do you eggs of your preference as well - some hot options such as soups and noodles as well haha! Juices/filter coffee and tea as expected. Had pina colada’s - delicious, room service food once - err I’d skip it, there is nicer Thai elsewhere. Other hotel staff aren’t the most super duper chirpy in your face types, but they are attentive and polite. Out and about - they have an on site lady who can help you with excursions (we didn’t find her that helpful tbh though she just handed us leaflets), just booked through Tui, found our own way around) 10 minute walk down hill to ao nang beach, lots of places to eat/drink/shop do laundry, get boats to and from places etc en route (Laundry prices in hotel are extortionate btw - place 2 mins across road is significantly cheaper). Also not too far to the other stretch of beach maybe like 20 min walk. Only real issue we had with hotel was really slippery tiles due to the rain (we both decked it a few times haha!) Conclusion - if you’re looking for a relaxation/spa holiday spot, this probably isn’t the place for you, but I’d happily recommend this to people who won’t be spending most of their time at the pool! For the price of the hotel compared to what you can get back in the UK for similar I’m genuinely surprised at the rating.

Your Executive room and are usually conveniently located on the ground floor with direct access to the gardens and swimming pool area and offer 48 square metres of living space designed in the elegance of Ayutthaya and contemporary Thai architecture. There are some of these rooms also located on the 1st floor which overlook the swimming pool – please contact us if you have a preference we can request this for you. If you are on the ground floor or 1st floor, your terrace/balcony will come furnished so you are able to relax and admire the views. These rooms come with a generous amount of living space ideal for families and feature a separate bathroom offering a separate bath and shower.
