Best in Class Service

Singapore, Singapore

We recently stayed at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort in Chiang Rai and which would have been our 3rd holiday this year. Truly the stay at Anantara Chiang Rai is the best of all as far as the service level of the staff is concerned. I travel extensively and very often cannot remember the names of service staff that accorded the good service. For best in class service, I cannot but have to remember Kun Pad, Kun Jay, Kun Mint and uncle Kun Sang. They all work at the Thai restaurant at Anantara Chiang Rai and their service level surpassed every high expectation of a seasoned traveller like me – I do at least 40 trips a year. They served to please and not because it is part of their job. This is the BIG Difference between good and great service. I had deduced that all this great service came about because of the great leadership of Kun Marc – manager of Anantara. Kun Marc took special care to speak constantly with all guests so as to ensure their expectation are fully met. He cajoled me and my wife to enjoy our fullest at the Anantara resort he manages. He was dedicated and intentional. Kudos to him for leading such a great team providing such great service at Anantara Resort Chiang Rai!

Incredible resort, staff, amenities and tours!

New York City, New York

We recently stayed at this resort for 3 nights for our honeymoon coming from their sister resort in Chiang Mai for 2 nights. Along the way we stopped at the White Temple which I highly recommend but bring SPF and an umbrella because it is HOT. We were greeted by Tuk, who was absolutely lovely and always checked in to make sure we were happy with our stay. The entire wait staff (Mint was lovely) from every location we dined at were very friendly and accommodating to our dietary needs and requests. You can't go wrong staying here, we did the Golden Triangle Tour (Taweesak was the BEST tiur guide, ask for him), the Opium Museum (so cool and interesting yet sad at the same time, very informative and nobody was in there so it felt like it was opened just for us), Walking with Giants which was incredible as we got to give them a nice bath too, and a 90 min spa treatment which is always a nice touch after any long trip. We had the suite that faced the golden triangle, it was so nice to have our tea and coffee on the balcony while watching and seeing the elephants roam by. The entire place is absolutely special. Thank you to Anantara and everyone there, you will not be disappointed by your stay or the food or the quality of service. We will miss you!
