5 Night stay at start of one month holiday

Stourbridge, UK

Lovely relaxing stay at this loble well equipped rooms with pleasant pool area in a quiet location, even from the hustle and bustle of the Sunday Market which is located in the same street but down a long drive to the hotel. Very friendly, happy and helpful staff, great choice of breakfasts in a pleasant restaurant adjacent to the pool. Don't miss the free daily 2 hour city tour, very informative and good for orientation.

Would return to Chiang mai

nickygaiger

We came here for 4 nights for our honeymoon. The hotel is lovey. The staff are great, however they do start early. The hotel also has chickens and cockerels which like to wake you up. We stayed in room 2201 which was gorgeous and nice and big. We got a meal and massage included. Both lovey. It was a set mea but we don’t eat fish so they let us pick of the a la cart menu, I had chicken and cashews amazing, the the vegetable spring rolls and the chicken skewers starters. My husband got a burger. The only let down was the pool was closed to be retired which we were not aware of. This is closed 1-31st October. Chiang Mai is amazing. There’s a street market every Sunday 6-10pm right outside the hotel, literally. Grab some bargains. 20tb (50p) for a large corn on the cob, 15tb (38p)for chicken skewer, 50tb (£1:25) for a chocolate crepe, 10TB (12p) for a banana spring roll, which was amazing, 30tb (75p) for a fresh pineapple smoothie. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants, around 150tb for a vodka or a cocktail £3:75. There’s also a huge night bazaar every night. Live bands food and lots of stalls. Get a tuk tuk over, it took us a while to get the courage to banter but eventually we got it for 100tb going there and 80tb coming back. Don’t be scared to barter. While there we found the food square, I think it was called phnoem, which had everything all it was all very clean. Lots of seating. We paid 80tb was peanut chicken and garlic bed, 100tb for the same but with a corn on the cob, and then 270tb for a Singapore sling cocktail and 120tb for a vodka and coke.
