A beautiful hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai's old town.

Dublin, Ireland

Where to begin with this hotel. The Tamarind Village hotel exceeded all our expectations. From the minute my partner and I arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. All the staff were so attentive and so incredibly friendly! We were given a full tour of the room and hotel grounds, and on the evening of our first night, we were brought by two members of the hotel staff to Asarnha Bucha at Wat Chedi Lueng. This is a very holy day in Thailand, and we considered ourselves very lucky to be included in this celebration. The room was spotless, and cleaned every day. The bed was really large and very comfortable. What we enjoyed most of all was the pool area, which was so tranquil and relaxed. I highly recommend spending some time here, and enjoying some drinks from the bar. Finally, the restaurant had some of the best food we ate in the whole of Thailand! There are also a lot of really nice places to eat nearby, and nightlife areas re a short taxi ride away too. I know this is an overused phrase, but if we return to Chiang Mai, we WILL stay at the Tamarind Village!

Lovely room, great location, very attentive staff

We stayed here en famille for two nights on a recent trip to Thailand. As a group of 5, we were given an upgrade on one room, to a suite. Bizarrely this was allocated to 2 of us, while the other 3 members of our party were squeezed into a significantly smaller room?! We asked for my teenage son to be moved into our suite's living area, which was done no problem. Once this was sorted we had a lovely stay - the staff could not have been more helpful and polite. Excellent location with super shops and food outlets just over the road. Highly recommended.
