Excellent experience

Hamilton, United Kingdom

Just left today and would highly recommend this hotel. From the minute we arrived the service and friendliness was amazing. Spotlessly clean and cannot fault anything. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and delicious. All the staff should be commended for friendliness and helpfulness. Prices in bar are expensive at nearly £5 a pint of lager but the jazz music and ambience almost makes it worth the price. Personally I would not stay in this area again as the smells in the street are terrible (maybe due to street food stalls which are in there 100’s at night ) and the pollution from the endless traffic made my face feel like it had sand on it, these negatives are Definately made up when you walk into the hotel as it is amazing and a sanctuary amidst the chaos of Chinatown. Our window was coloured glass and was not a functioning window and on 2nd night we saw a figure walk passed, we contacted reception who came in minutes and explained it’s due to a carpark access at side of building and took my husband to show him which put our mind at rest then seconds later reception called to ask if we would like to change room which we declined as we felt safe after explanation. Again excellent customer service. Wifi amazing room 518 and free and free safe !! Mini bar ample and bowl of fruit again excellent Yes I would recommend the hotel if staying in Chinatown

Excellent stay

Marvellously decorated. A bit expensive compared to other Thai hotels/resorts (approx. €90 per night), bu certainly worth the price. Every detail was perfect: pool with fish at te first (or second) floor, jazz lounge, breakfast room, the room itself. No damages to walls or paint, shower was very clean. This was (one of) the best hotels I have visited (even in Europe and the USA). Complimentary high tea, cocktail (both delicious) and city tour. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in china town.
