Pharaoh’s Island

We love talking holidays and we're here to help. If you'd like our advice on how to create an amazing holiday, just give our Destination Specialists a call.

This tiny isle 250 metres off the coast is worth a visit for the sand-coloured walls of the Castle of Salah ad-Din. Built by Crusaders in 1115 to defend the route between Cairo and Damascus, it was captured by Saladin 50 years later and used to guard against the side that first designed it.
