Family of 4 vacay

Dilliner, Pennsylvania

Our stay was fantastic. Located at the prettiest beach, Sugar Beach, on the island. It sits between the Pitons. Amazing rooms and VERY clean. Beds were super comfy. Loved the terrace and pools at our rooms. Great furniture to relax on in the morning. Nespresso machine was awesome. They constantly make sure you have enough water. And every night you get a little treat which were all so good! My kids looked forward to that every night. Butler and shuttle service was great. I thought the shuttle service was going to be a pain, but they run 24 hours and we never had to wait more than a couple minutes. Breakfast was delicious but at times very slow. I recommend getting a breakfast package. We ate at Bayside. It was good but very pricey. Actually all the restaurants were pricey. I didn’t care for the guy in charge of the snorkel gear. He made me feel like we weren’t welcome to use the equipment and questioned where we would be using it and reminded me EVERYDAY to bring it back. His attitude didn’t sit well with me and others. Locals have access to the beach. Use water taxis to go to town that are further away. Prices are negotiable! There was one local who shouldn’t be allowed at this beach. He makes fruit smoothies. He asked my husband if he had any “bad habits” that he could get for him. So I guess he’s the local dope dealer. And when I was waiting for a straw bowl to be made by a young boy, he asked me if I needed his “company” when my husband isn’t around. I didn’t tell my husband that guy said that to me bc I’m sure there would’ve been confrontation. This guy is disgusting and needs banned!!!! Overall, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island. Great facility and staff was awesome.

Somewhat dated facilities, but excellent location and service!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We visited the Viceroy Sugar Beach for a week in December 2017, and had an excellent time. The hotel is fairly dated at this point, and the rooms do exhibit some wear and tear. There was even a day when the hotel was without running water for approximately 7 hours. However, the service more than made up for the inconveniences surrounding the facilities. We were even gifted a free bottle of champagne for the hassle. The employees at the Viceroy Sugar Beach are what make the place so special; they are incredibly friendly and do their very best to accommodate hotel guests in any way possible. Additionally, the view of the Pitons cannot be beat, and the food is better than similar resorts throughout the Caribbean. We strongly recommend that couples looking for a romantic getaway in a tropical destination visit the Viceroy Sugar Beach!
