Wonderful trip!

New York City, New York

I would highly recommend the Park Hyatt St. Kitts to anyone looking for an upscale, incredibly relaxing and beautiful Caribbean getaway. Service: The service was nearly perfect. T'Shonda at the concierge took care of us before we arrived, helping to set up a bunch of reservations, special requests and answering any of our questions. On the ground, she was just as helpful - set up lots of plans for us, called to check in, etc. She's a gem! Another standout was Shawvon at the pool (or beach). He's incredibly friendly and made sure that we were always comfortable, checked in on us to see what we needed and always made sure we were hydrated. Some days the pool / beach servers were a little spotty where you needed to seek people out but we were spoiled by days that Shawvon helped us. Property: The grounds and rooms are stunning and IMMACULATE. I would have eaten off the floor. You can tell that everything is new and incredibly well maintained. Rooms were very comfortable, great amenities, robes, etc. We were in building 14 which we loved, being close to both pools. I can't imagine there is a bad location on the property. Everything is relatively close together which we enjoyed - easy to walk quickly anywhere, pop into your room when needed, etc. The adult pool and kid-friendly pool are both gorgeous and very relaxing. Gorgeous views from both. The gym was very nice and modern. We didn't experience the spa but it looked very nice. The prices were a bit wildly high in my opinion. The kayaking tour was really fun and a nice way to get out on the water. Food & Beverage: We loved Fisherman's Village the most. We had two dinners there - one was the Friday night BBQ with live music which I would recommend. It's a great value and the food was fantastic. We also went twice for lunch. Everything was delicious, beautiful views and the service was wonderful. The Great House was very nice and had great options at breakfast. Dinner at the Great House was good but not as unique or special as Fisherman's Village. The bars in the Great House were okay but that is one place that we found the service to be spotty and a little slow. The tasting dinner at Stone Barn was really nice for a special occasion. The menu was a little limiting and they couldn't make too many modifications so check that out before you go. Off-Property: We left the property a handful of times for adventures and dinners. Really liked Salt Plage for sunset and dinner, Spice Mill next door (walkable) was fine, Reggae Beach had a nice BBQ on Friday night with live music and Shipwreck was a cool vibe during the day for the beach and lunch. Don't go to Carambola Beach Club. The atmosphere was incredibly weird and the servers never came to take our order so after 20+ minutes of waiting, we left. If you want to go into town, Boozie's was delicious and super local for lunch. The cruise ship area was VERY touristy though. I wouldn't bother. Overall, this trip was wonderful and I would head back in a second.

Birthday celebration

My experience was wonderful the staff was great and the hotel amazingly comforting. The only thing disappointing was the dinner, appetizer was tasteless so I skipped the main course and had desert which was equally disappointing.
