Welcome to your unique Caribbean country escape in natural Nevis. Montpelier Plantation & Beach offers a glimpse into a simpler way of life. Masterfully designed to be chic, yet laid-back and dating back to 1747, the sugar plantation is a wonderful balance of old and new world, with breath-taking views of beautiful island of Nevis and the gorgeous Caribbean Sea.

The rooms are elegant, bright and airy with cool colours, high beam ceilings and natural wood floors. Large windows allow fresh sea air to flow freely through the rooms and out to the private terraces with spectacular sea views, the ideal spot for relaxing on. The hotel offers three dining options and the unique opportunity to do rum tasting in the old sugar mill.

Spend lazy days in a beach hammock enjoying a freshly made cocktail or exploring ruins and discovering waterfalls the choice is yours.

Magical trip to a world class property

Lake Louise, Canada

Had an absolute blast coming here on their opening night from annual closing, and funny enough, I had the pleasure of being the only guest there! All the staff we fantastic, the food and drink is some of the best in the nation and the concierge service is incredible, the rooms as well are just stunning and the breezy outdoor spa was another real treat!!!!! As well if you get the chance hit up the private beach, it's also a stone's through from the yachtsman grill (which I reviewed as well), where you can get a killer lunch. also the beach has cabanas and a fully stocked bar with a private bartender!!!! Especially considering the room night cost isn't even expensive for the area, both for value and stay, Montpellier is by far the best resort in the country!

Hospitality, Sunsets, Nature & Rum Punch Perfected

I recently stayed at Montpelier while on traveling for business and my expectations were exceeded. The cottage style accommodations and the open shower were my fav feature of the room. Being able to sleep and receive open air breeze and hear the nature sounds of the monkeys and donkeys was a joy. Breakfast was tasty ever morning - I already miss my fruit plate. RUM PUNCH!!! It’s the best on the island. If you like a strong punch where only 1 glass can keep down the calories, then stop by Montpelier! Lastly, don’t forget to visit the hidden gem on property, the hammock! BEST SUNSET VIEW! Thanks Jackie and Muffin for the great stay. Your staff is amazing and made my stay memorable and relaxing.
