Montpelier Plantation & Beach

Welcome to your unique Caribbean country escape in natural Nevis. Montpelier Plantation & Beach offers a glimpse into a simpler way of life. Masterfully designed to be chic, yet laid-back and dating back to 1747, the sugar plantation is a wonderful balance of old and new world, with breath-taking views of beautiful island of Nevis and the gorgeous Caribbean Sea.

The rooms are elegant, bright and airy with cool colours, high beam ceilings and natural wood floors. Large windows allow fresh sea air to flow freely through the rooms and out to the private terraces with spectacular sea views, the ideal spot for relaxing on. The hotel offers three dining options and the unique opportunity to do rum tasting in the old sugar mill.

Spend lazy days in a beach hammock enjoying a freshly made cocktail or exploring ruins and discovering waterfalls the choice is yours.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Montpelier in January.

Allentown, Pennsylvania

Montpelier Plantation offers travelers gracious hospitality, delicious cuisine, and a warm/helpful/friendly staff ....... all surrounded by beautiful grounds. Dinners at Restaurant 750 were all all very delicious, with abundant vegetarian options for my wife. If one enjoys fresh seafood well .... you are in luck. Breakfast ( included in our rate/package ) was plentiful and delicious. Our room had a great view of the Caribbean ant Mt. Nevis. And we were treated views of the wild donkeys, goats/sheep, and the monkeys. With approximately 20 some rooms, Montpelier is a true boutique gem. Many of the people who we met are repeat guests.

Better than ever!

We first visited Montpelier in 1988 and have loved it ever since over 28 visits. This year was better than ever. We arrived absolutely exhausted after busy times at work, hosting a big family Christmas and then our daughter's wedding on 4th January. It is the most beautiful, restful, comfortable and friendly place in the world to us and we can't wait to go back! The staff are outstanding and many of them have worked there for decades. This is a seriously special place.
