Excellent boutique resort!

Fort Worth, Texas

Fantastic small resort. It's located up the side of the Nevis Peak, so while there are some views, it's not exactly overlooking the ocean. But this also allows for a fair bit of privacy as well, and there ARE some views, just perhaps not as dramatic beach or oceans shots as Nisbet plantation (which we stayed at last time). But the lush grounds definitely have a great deal of charm of their own, and there were some great sunsets! The staff here is absolutely top notch! Very friendly and wonderfully helpful. We were able to arrange most reservations and transportation needs through the front desk concierge, including arranging our rental car- (we accidentally booked online at St.Kitts by mistake then had to find a new rental once we arrived). Montpelier does have private beach access with it's own small bar, but honestly we didn't wind up using it but one day- there was a lot of other things to see and do and the resort pool is great. (The beach is right next door to the Yachtsman Grill, which is also a great spot to get food since that isn't available at the Montpelier beach, though the resort will pack a picnic lunch if you set it up slightly in advance). Thought we'd use the beach more but we wound up exploring the island a lot more or hanging out at the pool. We absolutely would love to stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous!

Our two week stay at Montpellier could not have been more relaxing. It's beautiful grounds in the most gorgeous location made us feel instantly at home. We were greeted at the airport in St Kitts by a hotel rep and were quickly transferred across to Nevis by the hotel, making our journey as a family much less stressful! A combination of beach days, hikes and chilled days at the pool filled our time at Montpellier, and we loved every second of it. The warm atmosphere around the hotel was thanks to the incredibly friendly staff, who were always keen to answer our questions and chat to us. We particularly loved being greeted everyday by Kaddy at the bar by the pool ! Thank you to all the Montpellier team for making our stay so enjoyable.
