Centara Ceysands Resort & Spa

We loved the entire experience of Centara hotel from the moment we arrived. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. The spa experience was wonderful and relaxing. The Resturaunt never disappoints. Our room was well taken care of by our roomboy Indika who always decorated it with nice decorations that we kept looking forward to seeing what was next. Everything was super and we will definitely come back to centara again.

Where do I start .... well this doesn’t even come to a 3 star hotel in my books and I regret the day I listened to a holiday rep something I haven’t done in a while.Unfortunately I have barely anything positive to say regards my our stay at this place.You get there by boat and regardless what time it is you always have to wait a good ten minutes no matter how we’ll advance you tell the very arrogant hotel reception staff The room ... first room that was given was a corner room on the 3rd floor balcony room facing a huge cement wall .... bathroom door cracked flushing not working and the room was not properly clean. AC did not work well and sheets on one bed was stained. Also our request submitted 8 months prior to our arrival to have rooms next to our friends was ignored and we were literally at the opposite end of a he hotel !Complained to front desk and was made to wait 30 mins to speak to the front desk manager who eventually turn our very non chalant and told me he will give me a sea view room (which he didn’t it was a lake view) I told him the view was only the beginning of my issues and this was absolutely not the standard promised on their website ... I asked to change room category and he told me there was nothing available again another lie as there were loads of other options and when I checked our dates in front of him on booking.com anyways thought maybe grounds were decent and we will just use room to sleep- wrong again! The pool was not well kept at all cracks near the steps filters coming off staff impossible to find and we had to call them three times to get a mattress ... apart from that unless you wake up at 6 am and go place your towels forget a place by the pool ...: towels were also stained and torn we literally bought towels from the boutique and washed them rather then used that filth Food was simply inedible both at breakfast and dinner we were on half board plus the alcohol was a joke wine was like vinegar and when I asked for Prosecco I was told I had to buy a bottle ..... 50 pounds for a half decent bottle of Prosecco !!!!! Vile curry 3 days in a row and don’t be fooled by seafood buffet photos all u get is a cheap shrimp curry .. kids are expected to eat spring rolls cold chips with nuggets every single day !!!Tried the other two dining options 360 set menu for the ppl on half board was a jokeOther Thai restaurant half board option was a set menu no choice and all spicy !!! I could go on but I won’t bother...
