The Original

Occupying a magical setting under a canopy of ancient trees, on the banks of the Sabi River, the Lion Sands River Lodge is in the perfect spot to to watch the sun rising over Kruger National Park. Refurbished in 2010, this family run lodge has 18 luxurious thatched rooms each with their own private viewing decks. Relax in one of the two swimming pools and enjoy indoor and outdoor dining and several viewing decks ideal for wildlife spotting. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
