Birthday Treat

Ipswich, United Kingdom

We visited Kariega as my 50th birthday treat and I can honestly say it is the best present I’ve ever had. From start to finish staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. Food was fabulous and drink was excellent and plentiful. We stopped in River Lodge number 1 which was excellent with wonderful views, there are not many places where you can sit in your room and watch giraffes feeding. Our ranger Talent was excellent, he did his upmost to make sure we saw as much as possible, he was also informative and accommodating when we wanted to take pictures. Thank you Kariega for a wonderful holiday. I was told this was a once in a lifetime holiday but I’m not so sure as I can see us returning in the future.

The most wonderful of times

Dublin, Ireland

Just the most wonderful privilege to be on safari in the amazing Kariega Game Reserve with my daughter and see animals in 11,000 hectares of their natural habitat, up close and personal. So gracious, so natural, so beautiful and yet so dangerous... really makes one appreciate how important it is for us to look after all of God’s creation, animal and planet. Everything was simply perfect; the hotel, the staff, the food; on safari, you simply couldn’t ask for more!
