One of the best!

Petworth, United Kingdom

Four nights at one of the best hotels in the world! Exceptional rooms, very good value for a luxury hotel. The standard of service is second none and the staff the most helpful and friendly I have found in any hotel. We had dinner at the Chefs Table in the kitchens during our stay and this was a very memorable experience. There is simply nothing at this hotel I could improve on. Thank you 'Nelly' we'll be back.

Really Exceptional

San Francisco, California

Perfectly located, this grand, older hotel still maintains the old standards of service, yet manages to be modern in its informatily and warmth. Rooms are spacious and beautifully renovated. The restaurant (well, all of the dining venues) is world-class, yet very specific to South Africa. Can't think of a single improvement (other than to upgrade the 4-person elevator -- and even that was charming).
