Immerse yourself in striking architecture, heritage and graceful service for that unique feeling of being somewhere very special. Experience the warmest of welcomes from our Raffles doorman and the discreet, yet intuitive 24-hour butler service.

You can look forward to modern comforts and amenities whilst retaining the signature colonial architecture and views of verdant gardens. Exciting new dining concepts helmed by celebrity chefs will be offered along with refreshed recreational facilities and the holistic sanctuary of a new spa. Signature highlights such as the Singapore Sling at Long Bar and the traditional English Afternoon Tea experience will continue to delight guests. The North Indian curries at Tiffin Room, our Steakhouse, a reimagined Writers Bar and enchanting Lobby Lounge will also be part of the dining experience. A lovely start to our holiday

heathrow

We landed early in the morning after our Singapore Airlines flight from England. I had written before hand to explain our early arrival and asked if we could we leave our baggage in a safe area. Better than that. We were shown into our suite immediately after the registration formalities were completed, thus allowing us to freshen up before exploring the city. The newly refurbished suite was huge. Immediately upon entering, there is a sitting area, containing a dining table and chairs, a sofa and cocktail cabinet, this lead into the bedroom which had a huge double bed. Both rooms had flat screen TVs. All utilites were controlled by a couple of ipads. The bathroom had a free standing roll-top bath, seperate hand basins, an excellent walk-in shower and separate toilet. All in a very tasteful style. Our butlers catered to our every whim. The breakfast, served in The Tiffin Room had an enormous range of cold items and hot dishes were cooked to order. We had been looking forward to a game of snooker (we last played there about 10 years ago) but were quite disappointed to find that The Bar and Billiard Room has been converted into a rather pricey European-style restaurant. Therefore we opted to eat the Asian-style dishes served in The Court Yard Restaurant. In fact we ordered every dish on the menu, which proved to be just right for the four of us to eat tapas-style. Sadly the Corvid-19 outbreak has greatly reduced the number of tourists in Singapore, but on the brightside, it means that the already excellent service we received was exemplary. We were due to book in at Raffles for the Eastern and Oriental Express, but the venue was changed to The Fullerton Hotel. Raffles laid on complimentary use of their limousines to transfer us and all our baggage there. Fabulous service.

Understated Excellence

Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

Stayed for 4 nights in a Palm Court Suite as part of 70th birthday celebrations. Arrived late after overnight flight from London weary but excited. From the moment we stepped into the entrance lobby till the moment we sadly left this was pure unadulterated luxury delivered with an understated customer service which is second to none. The birthday cake and celebrations with the butlers started the celebrations and throughout the stay the attention to detail was first class. The hotel recently refurbished is a fantastic blend of colonial splendour with all the latest technology blended into the fabric of its operation. The grand lobby is breath taking, the writers bar an excellent way to spend an hour or so in conversation after dinner with an extraordinary choice of cocktails and spirits, and the restaurants are the icing on the cake. Breakfast offers every option possible and if it’s not on show ask for it - The Tiffin for Indochine food in the evening is very good and well worth a visit - room service adds another level to the options for a lazy evening relaxing. Our visit to the Long Bar and the infamous Singapore Sling was late morning before the queues and crush started and well worth the effort as is the outside restaurant for light lunches. The room itself was very spacious, and like the rest of the hotel maintained to the very highest standards with plenty of gadgets to ensure a relaxing and restful stay. In the heat of the day the roof top pool was an absolute delight along with pool side service for drinks and fresh fruit and later on cocktails in the pool bar. If your thinking of a holiday location post vivid then add Raffles to your list - cannot wait to return again perhaps linked to a F1 GP.
