The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Vallée de Mai in Pralin, is home to the rare coco de mer palms that produce the largest seed in the world. Weighing up to 30 kilos, these massive seeds are thought by some to be the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
