An island of indulgence and adventure

This luxury private island resort is perfect for couples seeking a romantic break. In a secluded setting, the island enjoys beautiful views and has a lovely stretch of white sand beach. The resort offers no less than eight venues for food and drink, with everything from Lebanese to Italian to authentic Filipino cuisine. There's even a wine and cheese bar for early evening nibbles. During the day you can relax around the main pool, enjoy a treatment at the over-water spa complex which comes complete with the Philippines' first authentic Arabic Hammam, or perhaps try your hand at one of the many watersports activities on offer such as kayaking, jet skiing or snorkelling. Accommodation on the island comes in the form of stand-alone villas decorated in a modern style with colourful, tropical touches. The water villas are particularly popular and each comes with an outdoor Jacuzzi® with blissful views out to sea. If you're looking for a little slice of paradise, this could definitely be it!

A Lebanese Resort in Palawan

Taguig City, Philippines

Came in w not much expectations, except for it being in Palawan. We were greeted by clear and still calm waters. Welcome drinks were fresh Coconuts, which was yummy. We were almost immediately brought to our Villa, facing the ocean. What a sight. There were ample pillows and towels. Bottled water is also constantly being replenished. Cleanliness is up there. Then I learn that it’s owned by a Lebanese family. The Lebanese Restaurant is a must to try. We were greeted by Coco (Cosette) the F&B Manager, and she explained thoroughly how good Lebanese food can be. We tried them and was very pleased. The wine was pretty good as well. The beach is not powder sand, a minus for me, as this is one thing I was looking for in a beach. Corals were a bit too spikey. What I love about is how quiet it can get, you get the sense of ‘you own the island’. So far the staff was extremely courteous. Now the bad. Due to us not being able to book a later flight out, we were booked for the first flight out, so check out was before sunrise. I knew this ahead, so I inquired if I can take my paid breakfast a day ahead or off set it w a meal or something, I was told that there will be packed breakfast ready for us when we check out. There was NONE. Rumor is that the F&B manager quit? I hope that is not the case, as she brings a freshness to the resort, all smiles ready to answer any questions type of girl. We all know that there are numerous resorts out there in Palawan. This is a good one, but would definitely try out others before going back here in Huma.

6 years and looking good

Manila, Manila, Philippines

I'm quite surprised at some of the negative reviews. So let me start by confirming what is true and whats not. - Food takes long - Check - Island Runs on diesel - yes, infact during our 3D/2N stay we had 2x where power went off for 5 minutes because they switched power. Didn't see any drums rolling though a ship pulled through to bring the generators / fuel. - Water Villas not kid friendly - Yes and there is indeed no barrier to keep you from falling. But it was the same when I went to Maldives. Theirs didn't have either. But despite these comments, I think its a well run and great resort. Our Jacuzzi was working but was informed that its not a hot jacuzzi. The temp was warm enough anyway. Their pool was salt water but it was clean. Food is very good and their F&B Manager Coco always checked on us. We tried their Lebanese, Italian and the Waves All day restaurant. The prices were a bit expensive but it was good. I love this resort!
