Destination Breakdown

Begin your Philippines adventure in the vibrant capital Manila, now accessible by direct flight from London Heathrow. This bustling mega city is ideal for a couple of nights soaking up the historic charm of the old walled city, Intramuros, haggling for bargains in Chinatown and exploring the upmarket malls in Makati. Do as the locals do and head down to the popular waterfront promenade Roxas Boulevard in the late afternoon to watch the sun go down over Manila Bay as you snack on local delicacies from one of the outdoor cafés.

After a couple of days exploring Manila it's time to take the short 60 minute flight to the tropical island of Boracay. This tiny island has plenty to offer with two amazing powder-soft white sand beaches, some good dive sites nearby and plenty of restaurants and bars. We recommend spending at least four nights, but if you are a beach lover at heart you could easily spend your whole holiday here. White Beach is the main area and is split into three areas, Station 1 is where the majority of the luxury accommodation can be found and has a more peaceful atmosphere, yet still within easy reach of restaurants and bars. Station 2 is the main hub and bustling with restaurants, bars, watersports and spas and Station 3 has more basic accommodtion popular with backpackers.
