Amorita Resort

Embodying the natural treasures of Bohol

With its enviable location atop a small limestone cliff overlooking Alona Beach, Amorita Resort is a great base for holidays to Bohol. This contemporary resort has two wings, each offering an infinity pool with sea views - the perfect alternative if you fancy a break from the powdery white sands of the beach below. Meals are served at the Saffron Restaurant, with a wide variety of local and international dishes plus an extensive wine list this casual venue comes highly recommended. Guest rooms are split between both wings of the resort and offer contemporary accommodation with either garden or sea views. If you like to get out and explore the local area, there are a selection of bars and restaurants along the beach, alternatively you can take a short walk from the front of the hotel where you will find some small shops and more bars and restaurants. In our opinion Amorita Resort offers the perfect combination of a peaceful beachfront hotel, but still with easy access to all the amenities of the popular Alona Beach area.

Wedding destination

Amorita totally didn’t reach my expectations ... the hotel is outdated and run down, towels and sheets were old and hard. They put our group (with 3 senior citizens) on the 3rd floor with no elevator 😱 and stairwell is badly lit. Definitely not for the seniors and those with knee problems and one key per room even if you’re a family of four. Thank God for the wonderful staff! Super friendly and accommodating which made our stay very pleasant. Hotel location is nice and secluded. Breakfast was great and food in Saffron was ok.

Glasgow, United Kingdom

We had booked a junior suite for 3 nights and when we arrived, we were initially given a ground floor room which smelled a bit damp. We requested a room change and the staff very kindly upgraded us to a one bedroom suite on the top floor which was a huge improvement! The one bedroom suite is massive with a huge balcony. We had no one next door due to where the room was so it was very quiet. There were complimentary snacks and drinks in the room (soft drinks and biscuits) which was a nice touch. The pool area was really nice but didn’t have many loungers given the size of the hotel. The staff by the pool were so attentive - they brought round watermelon popsicles, iced water, even offered to clean your sunglasses! There is direct access to the quiet end of Alona Beach from the pool area, and plenty restaurants within walking distance.
