Great night stay!

new milford, ct, United States

King bed room was spacious and comfortable. We used the bar and it is beautifully decorated and well staffed for comfort. Valet service was superb. Close to bars and restaurants. I used the small market for coffee it was very convenient. Elevator use was great due to separate elevators for higher floors.

Mixed Bag

Leeds, United Kingdom

We arrived at the Park Central Hotel expecting the all American customer service but this was sadly nowhere to be seen (which was pretty much how we found it to be on the whole in New York, not just the hotel). The lack lustre staff handed us our key card and failed to tell us that we would need this to use the lift, so after a long journey we found ourselves sailing up and and the lift wondering why it would't stop on our floor, until some kind guest came to our rescue. The hotel reception staff struggled to make eye contact and if you asked a question you were greeted with a bit of a grunt or simply pointed in a direction. Way off the mark of what you should expect of an American 4 star. We asked for coffee making facilities but did not receive them and really felt everything was a little too much trouble for the staff. On the plus side the hotel is well located and our room was pretty spacious. It wasnt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in but by far not the best. I wouldn't fall over myself to go back there.
