Day 2 is completely up to you. You can either spend the day relaxing at the hotel and making the most of the facilities and activities in resort. Or you can take 1 of 2 tour options (which we think is more appealing)

Option 1: Visit of Grand Mosque and Bait Adam Museum

Visit Sulten Qaboos Grand Mosque, a sure highlight of any itinerary. The Mosque is one of the biggest in the world - accommodating up to 20,000 worshippers. Explore the intricate detailing of the chandeliers, and a prayer carpet that took over 300 women over 2 years to complete.

After this proceed to the Bait Adam Museum, the Omani family's private Museum featuring countless, priceless Omani artifacts and personal collections of everything from artwork to weaponry.

You will be guided around the Mosque by the Curator himself, Mr Latif. His vast knowledge of the history of Oman is fascinating.

*Please be advised that Children under the age of 10 are not permitted to enter the main Prayer Halls at the Grand Mosque. There is an area outside the Prayer Halls where children are able to wait.

Option 2: Dolphin Watching and Snorkelling

For those feeling a tad more adventurous, why not enjoy a day of water sports? Depart your hotel for Marina Bandar and embark on a day of fun at sea. Witness the dolphins in their natural habitat before your captain finds you the best area available for snorkelling, try to spot passing marine life as you swim in the Gulf Sea.

*These activities are subject to weather conditions.

After either one of your tour day options, return to the hotel for an evening at leisure and a well earned rest!
